Saddened By What I Saw
The Silver Spring Meeting

The Kids Deserve Similar Opportunities.

I watched the video Dejene recorded at Azezo's Atse Fasil elementary school. The school is in a very bad shape. I was really saddened by the whole situation of the school.

Comparing to the condition of the school we attended, it looks like we have been going backwards in time. If not better, at least the kids deserve similar opportunities we had. Unfortunately, things do not seem to be that way. The school is in serious problem.

It seems obvious that they are not getting the help they need from the government to solve the problem.

The reason for my writing this message is the make a plea to all native children of Azezo and any one who is willing to make an effort to help make the situation better.

I hope this message will stir some good will in those who read it so as we could make a collected/organized effort to alleviate their situation.

Any one who is interested in watching the video, can contact me (Gashaw Azene  E-mail: Gashawb@msn.com or Dejene by phone e-mail: dejeneay@msn.com and we can send you a copy.

Thank you,

Gashaw
